Deepika Padukone acknowledges Summons, will be Interrogated on 26th September by NCB

Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone was issued a summon by the Narcotics Control Bureau on Wednesday and was scheduled to appear before the agency on September 25, but however now she will be interrogated on this date.

After Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone‘s Whatsapp drug chats with her manager Karishma Prakash got leaked on Monday, the Narcotics Control Bureau issued a summon to the actress on Wednesday along with other actresses.

Deepika was shooting in Goa for her upcoming untitled film with co-star Ananya Pandey and Siddhant Chaturvedi and has now flown back to Mumbai on Thursday. As per reports, the actress was issued a summon by the agency on Wednesday to appear before the NCB on Friday i.e. September 25.

However, now reports are suggesting that Deepika will not be appearing before the NCB on Friday. Times Now in its report quoted sources claiming that Deepika will be interrogated by the agency on September 26, Saturday instead.

Reports also suggest that tomorrow the NCB will quiz actress Rakul Preet Singh along with Deepika’s manager Karishma Prakash. Deepika Padukone will now be interrogated with fellow Bollywood actress Sara Ali Khan and Shraddha Kapoor.

Sara Ali Khan was also in Goa till Thursday morning, but now she has also returned to Mumbai with mother Amrita Singh, and her brother.

Earlier, it was stated in media reports that Rhea Chakraborty had named 25 Bollywood A-listers during her interrogation with the NCB, and Sara, Rakul, and designer Simone Khambatta‘s name was also taken in that 25 Bollywood A-listers list.
