In Sushant Singh Rajput’s death case, 3 Federal agencies are investigating the case and there are some media reports doing rounds stating that CBI has concluded their investigation in SSR’s case. Clearing out the air about CBI’s probe in the case, the agency’s spokesperson has issued a clarification on the same.
CBI spokesperson RK Gaur told India Today that the CBI is still investigating the case and these reports are mere speculations. Reports were stating that CBI has found no signs of foul play in the late actor’s death case and has concluded the probe.
The reports also alleged that the CBI is likely to submit their final report in the court soon. Recently, AIIMS Forensic panel, who was re-evaluating Sushant’s forensic reports, ruled out the murder theories and concluded that the actor died by suicide. These reports stating that CBI has found no foul-play in SSR’s case, also came days after the AIIMS ruled out the murder theories.
Sushant Singh Rajput was found dead on June 14 in his apartment in Bandra, Mumbai. Initially, the Mumbai police were probing the case, but later the case was given to the Central Bureau of Investigation. Along with CBI, the Enforcement Directorate and the Narcotics Control Bureau is also probing the case.
Yesterday, the ED conducted a raid at filmmaker Dinesh Vijan’s residence and office in connection to SSR’s case. He had earlier been interrogated by the agency as well in September for long 8 hours.
