On Tuesday, the Bombay High Court heard the bail plea of Bollywood actress Rhea Chakraborty, her brother Showik Chakraborty, Sushant Singh Rajput’s servants Samuel Miranda & Dipesh Sawant, and alleged drug peddler Abdel Basit Parihar’s bail plea in the NDPS case registered by the Narcotics Control Bureau.
Rhea Chakraborty along with her brother Showik and others were arrested in the first week of September by the NCB for their alleged link with the drug peddlers and also for procuring and consuming narcotic substances. Rhea got arrested on September 8 and before being produced before the court via video conferencing, the actress had filed a bail plea that got rejected by the court.
However, the actress had again filed a bail plea with her brother Showik in the special court, but that too got rejected. Recently, after Rhea’s custody got extended till October 6 by the session court, the actress’s legal team had filed a bail plea in Bombay High court which was heard on September 24.
On September 24, the court deferred the case to September 29 i.e. Tuesday. On Tuesday, the Bombay High Court heard the bail plea of Rhea along with others who had filed it.

The bail plea was heard by Justice S.V. Kotwal and he reserved the orders of bail application after listening to all the arguments both the sides had to offer.
