BMC rejects Bihar DGP Gupteshwar Pandey’s letter to free SP Vinay Tiwari from quarantine

sushant singh rajput case

After Sushant Singh Rajput‘s father filed an FIR against Rhea and her family, the Bihar police is also a part of the investigation. Right after the FIR was filed, a team of Bihar police was sent to Mumbai for investigation.

Bihar police interrogated Ankita Lokhande, Sushant’s driver, cook, and his sisters as well. But Bihar police couldn’t connect with Rhea Chakraborty and recently said that she is absconding.
A few days ago, Bihar Superintendent of Police (SP) Vinay Tiwari reached Mumbai for the investigation, but as soon as he landed he was sent into quarantine for 14 days following the safety protocol by BMC.

Reacting to it, Bihar DGP Gupteshwar Pandey wrote a letter to BMC to set his SP free from quarantine. As reported, BMC has rejected the request.
(Patna IG had written a letter to the Chief of BMC opposing the quarantine of IPS Vinay Tiwari and requested him to be freed. BMC has also sent a reply to the letter to Patna Police and it has been rejected. Now our SP Vinay Tiwari will now be imprisoned there for 14 days. This decision of BMC is unfortunate!)

DGP told Mid-day, “Police teams from all over India visit Bihar in connection with their respective cases and we, the Bihar Police, give them full cooperation. I never heard of anything like this before. How will we investigate a case if Mumbai police do not cooperate with us? We are working on our next course of action.”

However, now SP Vinay Tiwari is quarantined for 14 days and will be set free on August 15.
