It came as an utter shock when reports were doing the rounds claiming that Indian playback singer Aditya Narayan has gone bankrupt and has only Rs. 18,000 left in his bank account. Clarifying the reports, the singer, who is also a popular TV personality, slammed the reports claiming that he has gone bankrupt and also cleared out the details of his interview.
While talking to India Forums, Aditya Narayan slammed the reports and said, “This particular interview was taken a month and a half ago. So, the reporter generally asked me how do I react with the decision about offices being re-opened and shooting being resumed amid pandemic and I gave an answer looking at the current scenario on how lockdown has affected livelihood and has made it difficult for all of us.”
He continued and said that he had in general mentioned that he has bought a new apartment before the lockdown so being celebrity even, he has to think about EMIs and if pandemic would extend for a longer period then everybody will suffer in some way. “I casually mentioned that mere 5 lakhs kat gaye hai EMI ke liye aur mere pas abhi 18K bache hai. But that doesn’t mean I have gone bankrupt and I have no money left me. After working for more than 2 decades and that too working continuously how can I go moneyless?” Aditya told the portal.
Aditya shared that he genuinely felt touched the way people offered him help but he said that he has enough and all he needs is blessings. He also mentioned that looking at the kind of work he has done in the past years, and by god’s grace he won’t be needing any financial help and won’t come to such situations in life.
For the unversed, on the work front, Aditya Narayan has worked in Bollywood films as an actor as well as a playback singer and along with that, he’s a television host as well. He’s the son of singer Udit Narayan and Deepa Narayan Jha. Aditya Narayan is all set to tie the knot with his long time beau actor Shweta Aggarwal.
