Mahima Chaudhry accuses Shubhash Ghai of Bullying Her

Actress Mahima Chaudhry made her Bollywood debut opposite Shah Rukh Khan in 1997 by a film titled ‘Pardes’. Mahima Chaudhry was launched by Subhash Ghai, the successful director of his era. However, now, Mahima has accused Subhash Ghai of bullying her. Mahima revealed that Subash not only threatened her but also asked other producers and directors to not caste her.

In an interview with Bollywood Hungama, Mahima Chaudhry revealed how Subhash Ghai had threatened her not to work with any other producer or director. She said that in the year 1998 or 1999, Subhash Ghai advertised in Trade Guide magazine with a photo of Mahima, in which he wrote that anyone who wants to work with Mahima will have to contact Subhash Ghai.

Subhash Ghai claimed in the advertisement that Mahima Chaudhry was in contract with him. So without his permission, she cannot work with any other producer or director. However, Mahima has told in her interview that she had never done any such contract with Subhash Ghai.

Mahima told that after this Salman Khan, Sanjay Dutt, David Dhawan, and Rajkumar Santoshi came forward to help and support her. She said that David called him and said there was no need to fear. Mahima also said that apart from these 4 people at that time, she had not even received a call from anyone else from Bollywood.

Before this, an Israeli model named Reena Golan also accused Subhash Ghai in her book that he wanted to forcibly take her to his bedroom. Apart from this, in the year 2018, model-actor Kate Sharma also accused Subhash Ghai that he had ‘forcibly kissed and tried to hug’ her. However, later Mumbai police gave a clean chit to Subhash Ghai in the investigation.
