Mumbai Police summons Rajeev Masand for Interrogation in Sushant Singh Singh Rajput’s suicide case

After Mumbai police have interrogated more than 30 people in Sushant Singh Rajput’s case, Rajeev Masand is next in the queue. Journalist and film-critic Rajeev Masand’s name got added in the list after Kangana Ranaut in her recent interview with Republic TV said that he should also be interrogated for the same.

Kangana also called the ongoing investigation by Mumbai Police a ‘sham’ as she felt many people are not being interrogated and summoned for the SSR’s case. She also added, “Why is Mumbai Police not summoning — Aditya Chopra, Mahesh Bhatt, Karan Johar, Rajeev Masand? These 4 people. Why, because they are powerful? With this interview, I only have things to lose.”

Kangana recounts, “I have said no to Bhansali‘s Padmaavat but he hasn’t done anything vengeful. He doesn’t gang up on anyone but he’s being summoned. Shekhar Kapur, a God-like figure in the industry is being summoned.

Masand on the other hand has been seen targeted by netizens over allegedly calling Sushant Singh as a ‘skirt-chaser’. His blind items stained SSR’s image and it can be turner in the investigation if he was the one working on behalf of some powerful people to tarnish Sushant’s image.

Mumbai Police has stated the death of SSR as ‘asphyxia due to hanging.’
