Actor Kartik Aaryan has given green-flag to his another project. Kartik seems to be the busiest man as he’s filled with so many sequels and now a new project.
As reported by Bollywood Hungama, Kartik will soon be seen in the official remake of Allu Arjun’s mega-blockbuster, Ala Vaikunthapurramloo. The film will be directed by Rohit Dhawan and produced by Ekta Kapoor with South producer Allu Aravind, who also produced the original.
Earlier, it was reported that the sequel will be produced by Ashvin Varde, but the producer no longer holds the remake rights. The Ala Vaikunthapurramloo remake is assured to go on the floors around February 2021.
Kartik has to complete his pending assignments before he starts shooting for the remake. The sequels of hit films like Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, Dostana 2, Om Raut’s next and also Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety 2 have tightly occupied Kartik.
“The industry is optimistic that the on-ground scenario will be back to normal by year end, and the industry will start functioning like before. If everything goes as planned, the film will target a release in the second half of 2021. But it’s all just a conversation now, and all depends on how COVID-pandemic takes shape in months to follow,” the source informed, adding that it would be the biggest Kartik Aaryan film in terms of budget.
The search for the female lead and the rest of the ensemble cast is still on. The idea is to cast some of the best actors in the industry for these roles.
