Bollywood Actress Amrita Rao, who has worked in hit films like ‘Vivah’, is going to start working on two new films soon. Also, It has been reported that the actress has decided not to take rent from some of her tenants who are trapped in their home states during the lockdown. All these tenants went back to their homes as soon as they got relaxation in the lockdown and from there these people expressed their inability to pay the rent after which Amrita took this decision.
People close to Amrita said that She has invested in property at many places in Mumbai. Many tenants living in these properties had to leave the city during lockdown. Many of these tenants, through their real estate agents, had requested Amrita Rao not to take the rent for the previous months.
When asked about the same, Amrita told a Leading Hindi Daily “Some of my tenants do freelancing, such as acting and cinematography. A fixed and monthly amount is not provided in such work. Moreover, they have returned to their families to save themselves from COVID 19 Pandemic. In such a situation, I felt that on this delicate occasion I need to understand and help them.”
Amrita was last seen in film ‘Thackeray’. She is about to start shooting for two films soon.
