Bollywood Actor Amit Sadh has recently made a shocking revelation about his shift from TV to films. In a recent interview, Amit, who has spent 10 years in Bollywood, has talked about leaving television to make a place in films.
In an interview to Bollywood Hungama, Amit said, ‘I did not leave television to make a place in films. I was banned by the television industry. The people working there called each other and said, “Don’t give him work.” Then I said, okay? You will not give me work ? Then I will go for films. ‘
Amit told in the interview, ‘Then I got a call from a very big television producer who is a well-known face in the industry, so I told him,’ Sir, if you’ll do wrong, I will fight too ‘.
Amit further revealed that he applied his anger and frustration to his work and developed himself. He met some good people after which life changed and he realized that there is no need to fight.
Amit made his bollywood debut in 2010 with Ram Gopal Varma’s Funk 2 after saying goodbye to television. After this, he acted in films like Kai Po Chhe, Guddu Rangeela, Sultan, Sarkar 3 and Gold.
He has recently appeared in the web series Breath: Into the Shadow. He also appeared in the role of a police officer in its first season.
Soon Amit will be seen in the crime drama ‘Yaraa’ directed by Tigmanshu Dhulia which also stars Vidyut Jamwal, Vijay Verma, Shruti Haasan in the lead roles. The film will be released on July 30 on the OTT platform.
