After Sushant Singh Rajput’s death, some things added fuel to the fire and also brought many things transparently in perspective. As the temperature on social media has raised to breaking bars, Indian film producer, director, and writer Anubhav Sinha declared his resignation from Bollywood.
He tweeted, “ENOUGH!!! I hereby resign from Bollywood. Whatever the fu*k that means,” on his verified Twitter account. Sinha also changed his twitter profile to Anubhav Sinha (Not Bollywood) as his twitter handle remains the same @anubhavsinha.

Following which Sudhir Mishra, Indian film director, and screenwriter, also tweeted, “ What’s Bollywood? I came 2be part of Cinema inspired by Satyajit Ray, Raj Kapoor, Guru Dutt, Ritwick Ghatak, Bimal Roy, Mrinal Sen, Hrishikesh Mukherjee, K Asif, Vijay Anand, Javed Akhtar, Tapan Sinha, Gulzar, Shekhar Kapur, Ketan Mehta, Bharatan n Aravindan etc. That’s where I’ll always be.”

Teaming up with Sudhir after his tweet, Anubhav replied saying 2 people are out of Bollywood and will continue working for the Hindi film industry. Director Hansal Mehta joined them too and tweeted, “Chhod diya. It never existed in the first place.”
Sinha and Mishra, both appreciated their favorite directors from the industry. Sinha also tweeted asking people to never consider him a part of Bollywood anymore. Lastly, he replied to a tweet asking him to join Bhollywood saying “Out of the woods now.”
Anubhav Sinha has worked with superstars on the industry and gave amazing movies to his audience. Movies like Article 15, Mulk, and recently released Thappad are amongst his great works.
