Police have been interrogating the suspects in television actress and model Kritika Choudhary murder case to get details of the sequence of events on the day of the incident. Two suspects have already been detained in the Kritika Chaudhary murder case. The watchman of the actress’ building was detained by the police, while the crime branch detained a male friend of the victim, who is the prime suspect in the case.
The watchman have told the police that he saw two male friends of the actress entering the building with her early on June 7 or 8, after which he did not see her again. However, the murder doesn’t seem to be a planned one, according to the police. They also suspect that the incident happened on the night of June 7 after Kritika spoke to her parents over the phone.
Moreover, investigations in the case have further revealed that Kritika’s ex-husband Vijay Dwivedi is allegedly a conman, who poses as a high-profile politician to cheat people.
Kritika’s brother Deepak, who arrived in Mumbai from Haridwar along with his mother to collect Kritika’s body and later performed her last rites at the Vile Parle crematorium, told Mid-Day: “Kritika had married Vijay Dwivedi in 2011; she divorced him more than four years ago. Her husband had claimed to be the son of a prominent politician, but when we checked his background, it turned out to be a lie.”
Dwivedi had allegedly cheated many popular celebrities, including Bollywood actor Govinda, Ekta Kapoor of Balaji Telefilms, television actress Shweta Tiwari and Congress leader Amrish Patel, an India Today report said.
Dwivedi is currently being interrogated by the police in the murder case though they don’t think he could have killed the 27-year-old model-actress.
