Bigg Boss 12 has failed to grab everyone’s attention like its previous seasons. Hosted by bollywood superstar Salman Khan, the show has just failed to get garner the buzz it was known for. However, this season, there was always former Indian cricketer Sreesanth, who’s become the most talked about contestant of the season for his antics.
And now, the upcoming episode of the show will see Sreesanth finally opening up about the infamous slapgate incident that happened 10 years ago back in 2008 in the inaugural season of IPL. In the episode, Bigg Boss has been turned into a newsroom and one of the housemates Surbhi Rana has been made the reporter. In the 30-second promo released by the channel, Surbhi is seen asking Sreesanth about the slapgate incident.
For those who are unaware, in IPL 1, after one of the cricket matches, where Sreesanth’s side Kings XI Punjab won over Mumbai Indians, Harbhajan had reportedly slapped the aggressive fast bowler. While there was no camera footage of the same, Sreesanth was seen crying inconsolably. Recalling the incident, Sreesanth claimed that he wasn’t slapped but Harbhajan just tried to hit him. And added that he felt helpless at the time and burst into tears.
