Massive fire broke out on the sets of Akshay Kumar’s upcoming film ‘Kesari’ in Wai district of Maharashtra. The cast of Kesari actors, who were shooting for the final portions of the film and had left for the day after completing their part. Meanwhile, the crew members were still present on the sets. The shooting of Kesari has been currently put on hold. As per the source, “Though, the explosion was a massive one, not a single person from the crew was injured.”
The protagonist Akshay returned to Mumbai after completing his shoot for the day whereas Parineeti Chopra is currently enjoying her vacation in Australia.
Recently, Akshay injured himself while doing a heavy-duty action sequence. According to a report by a leading daily, the 50-year-old actor was shooting for the climax scene when he injured his ribs. Following the injury, he had to take a break from the shooting. Doctors have advised Akshay Kumar rest. He has also been suggested to fly back to Mumabi, but he refused and is currently staying on location in Wai.
The action sequence which was supposed to be wrapped up by Thursday will now be delayed by a couple of days, citing Akshay Kumar’s injury.
