Directed by Meghna Gulzar, the film is based on Harinder Sikka’s novel Calling Sehmat. Alia played the role of a spy who was married off a Pakistani officer to transfer confidential information. She was heaped with praises for her performances. Now, the latest Raazi box-office collection is out and the film has now become the third highest grosser of 2018 after Padmaavat and Baaghi 2.

A spy thriller, Raazi is about a young Indian girl who turns into a spy for the country for which she is married to a Pakistani military officer (Vicky) during the Indo-Pak war of 1971. The film also stars Jaideep Ahlawat, Rajit Kapur and Shishir Sharma in important roles. The flick is based on Harinder Sikka’s 2008 novel Calling Sehmat.
